Murray St trounced us by 19 because they were an awesome team. LOL Way under seeded, our expert said they would subsequently prove just how good they were. LOL.

FSU trounced Murray by 28 proving their worth - but wait...Murray was still great, they just ran into a FF team in FSU. LOL

FSU doesn't make the FF (or even the Elite 8). Gonzaga drubs them by 14. LOL

Chico is right about match ups, though. We were dead men walking, a team running on fumes. A decent mid major was a bad match up for us. FSU was the 4th or 5th best ACC team - a bad match up for a mid major. Gonzaga is a top 5 team in the country - a bad match up for a merely better than average ACC team.

Reminds me of an ad the Milwaukee County Health Dept (or whatever it's called) ran during my time at MU that warned of the dangers of sex and the need to get checked routinely in these vans they had that ran around town giving tests for STDs and pregnancy. (The ad wasn't about wrapping your meat or abstinence - just get tested)

The ad had a jingle along the lines of, 'Bill slept with Sue who slept with Bob who slept with Sam who slept with Debbie who slept with Jim who slept with...'

These were those halcyon days before AIDs...

Actually, it the one game, meaningless, anything can happen crapshoot Boston won. In the best of three series providing the better measuring stick of excellence Seattle prevailed.

But against all odds (per Chiconian logic) I'm still willing to bet the Red Sox win more games this year. Interest?
