MU Women - Sun 03/24 1P CST - vs Texas A&M - ESPN2 and ESPN App

The Marquette Women try to make the Sweet for the first time in program history a they take on Texas A&M.  It will be tough as it's on Texas A&M's home court.  But Marquette had their chances to secure a top 4 seed and host themselves and didn't take care of business during the season so this is what they face now.

If they play like they did Friday, this game will be over quickly.  Hopefully it's a better showing today .

It will be shown in its entirety on ESPN2 in the Milwaukee area but the rest of the country is subject to ESPN's whiparound coverage which is awful.  That usually means sticking with a 30 point blowout and not showing interesting games.  You can also stream the game in the ESPN app.

That last possession sums up things pretty well unfortunately.  I'm not sure they're ever going to make the Sweet 16 at this point.  Wow did they have a great shot to win this game - a blown golden opportunity...

Yeah next year is major rebuilding with 8 freshmen coming in (this year's senior class was originally 8 also - one left after their freshman year and one graduated a year early).

Like I told my wife,  when Amani missed that FT w/ 36 sec and the reb went to Van Klunen,but there was a whistle for lane violation by A+M, I said oh oh   thats it, i think its in the stars to lose.... Up 1 and with the ball in our court with 36 sec would have prob won it for them....  oh well   thats how the ball bounces ! ! !

I would agree except that they put themselves in a horrible spot to inbound the ball. It cost them. Inbound play had Heideman in no position to get the ball. I don't get that at all. That's a shame. Really wanted that group to get to the Sweet 16. The injury down the stretch really hurt them. Valiant effort.
