They may not be household programs, but the No. 12 seed Murray State Racers and No. 5 seed Marquette Golden Eagles will face off in perhaps the most exciting, high-powered first-round matchup of the NCAA tournament....

...Another thing that could turn this matchup into a high-scoring affair is the fact that neither team is particularly strong on defense.

The reality of so many picking Murray State has to do with the 5 vs. 12 matchups historically in the tournament. If this was a 6-11 games, half those guys picking MSU would be picking MU instead.


If we control the defensive boards, I think we win easily (assuming we don't go 4-24 from 3-point land).
