Ohhh...to be a fly on the wall at the Al this week
« on: January 24, 2008, 11:51:49 AM »
We've all heard the physical levels of Crean's practices are rivaled by few...but I can't even begin to imagine this week's.  With almost a full week between games, and our horrendous play the last 3 of 4 games, I can only imagine what the squad is going through.

I fully expect that Crean is using this time to rebuild the confidence of our players, and work on increasing the tempo of our game on both sides of the ball.  We better see an entire different team come out Saturday night.

Raise your hand if you ever thought at any point this year, that MU would be 10th in the Big East?!?!?!!??!?!??!?!?  10th!!!!

So should we begin to speculate who is going to miss time with an injury they suffered in practice?

let me know if the fire department pulls up in front of the Al.  Ever since the "play with hair on fire" comment I've had this horrid fear of hearing about a practice injury of the smoldering variety.

Not too worried about the 10th place (which is actually just as good as saying 11th place since we're tied for both).. it's only 6 games into an 18 game slate.. plenty of time left.. don't argue with me - that thought is what gets me through the night these days.  :D

i am not worried about 10th (11th) place. Considering the parety in the Big East this year, we just need to win a couple and we are back in the top half of the conference.

see, we've moved into a 4-way tie for ninth already without even playing!
