Mr. Nielsen

Heads up to people coming to Fiserv Forum on Saturday. Senior Day in the Wojo era has been before the game. About 15 minutes earlier.  St. Patrick's Day Parade. Also the Milwaukee Wave play @1pm at the UWMPA. Phantom of the Opera at the Marcus Center. Parking will very tough! Get downtown early!

Am I the only one who finds it odd that the St. Patrick's Day parade is a full 8 days before St. Patrick's Day?

If they want to hold it on a Saturday, why not the 16th? Odd....

I wonder if that is like the Christmas parade being weeks early as well.

The local bars all celebrated St. Patrick's Day last Friday because the students would be on break this weekend and next. A co-worker's daughter sent him a pic of her drinking green beer last Friday morning.

I find it odd it's from 12:00 to 2:30.  Every other parade I've ever seen is early morning to avoid disruptions.

Bar is guaranteed to be packed on the Saturday before St. Patrick's day 10 times out of 10. Having the parade a week earlier is just another excuse to get out to your local watering hole and spend some cash
