Highlight of the game unrelated to what was on the court

First time I got to see the team live this season.  At around 4 minutes to go after we pushed the lead back up near 20 again, some PC fans started filing out, and were walking behind the MU bench, and Greg Elliott was saying to them as they passed something along the lines of, "Leaving so soon?  Don't go.  C'mon, stick around."

Greg Elliott is my favorite player on the team. Love the kids spirit. Can't wait till he is back next year.

My favorite is when Sam is at the free throw line and Providence fans are chanting "Marquette Sucks! Marquette Sucks!"  He calmly sinks both free throws to go up ten. after that Marquette runs up the score.

They did the same thing when Markus was shooting FTs and you could hear it on TV.  The best part was Gus Johnson essentially said "actually, he's not."

I think they were chanting "Markus sucks" in that instance. Which is what Gus was responding to.
