to watch a Marquette home game and if so how many standing room only seats were sold and what was the actual attendance?

Doesn't seem possible but that's what the moron announcer said

Probably the largest crowd at Fiserv Forum. Hard to believe it eclipsed the largest BC crowds.

TallTitan34

At Fiserv yes. All-time with the Bradley Center? No.

tower912

I thought there were some games at the Bradley Center that had nearly 20k.

Tim Brando was just reading in what he was told.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

Bradley Center capacity was 18,717. MU's record is a touch over 19k.

The Top 10 attended games at the Bradley Center are all over 19,000.

Today was 17,856.

So how is it possible then, if capacity = X, to have attendance of greater than X?
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Standing room only at Fiserv Forum.
Not sure about Marquette's numbers at the  BC. Bucks always had a capped number.

I guarantee Tim Brando twisted the message.  Somehow he has seen and announced hundreds (maybe thousands) of games.  Yet, each game he finds a way to make it seem as if he is watching basketball for the first time.  I'd rather listen to Dickie Simpkins than Tim Brando.

At the end of the game in the Markus interview the sideline reporter said largest crowd in this building.  I am sure it was just an instance where he didn't speak perfectly.

Just rewatched the game and at the end Brando says that two years ago Marquette defeated number one Villanova in this building.  Someone should tell him it's a new arena.

Say what you will but the Arena was always jammed to the rafters and was one of the greatest snake pits in college ball. That place was ALIVE for Marquette games.

It was bizarre but I noticed a ton of empty seats in upper deck all game. Shirts still on seats well into 2nf half, I would assume upper deck was only 80% full.

I think a lot of the upper deck was upstairs. The railing overlooking the Forum from the club was absolutely packed.

That's a solid point and I saw it was packed as well and thought maybe that was the case. Just funny a bunch of people never went to seats at all or grabbed their shirt.

No.  The Badger 5 pack and the NMD 5 pack were separate.

Ok Chief.  Maybe it was the UWM fans I saw coming into my row wearing red 10 minutes into the 2nd half.  WTF?
