Who are you rooting for, me personally, I would like to see Syracuse win to knock Georgetown down a bit to give us a better shot of still winning the big east, yea, I'm still a believer.

oh what 2 weeks does to a message board.

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

I'd like to see Georgetown to keep a Big East Team in the running for a one or two seed in the big dance.  Then when we beat them ;), that strengthens our RPI big time.

I can tell you who wins this game right now.. the home team.
"I don't give a damn if he can't do nothing else. He can shoot, and I love the way he shoots. I don't care if he can't dribble, can't rebound, can't play defense... that kid can shoot the ball." - Tracy McGrady on Steve Novak

I can tell you right now we will have to play out of our minds to beat either of these teams. Syracuse at home with that 2-3 zone will be tough; G'town is simply better than us at every position. We will have to play our absolute best to win that one.

I dunno... the Cuse is up 53-49 with 8 min left

I personally want to see them win... makes it easier for us to win the BE

No way in hell is Gtown better than us at every position. They're without question better than us at the 4 and 5. However, I'll take McNeal and James over Jessie Sapp and Jonathan Wallace their starting 1 and 2 any day of the week. You give James and McNeal a legit post-up option and they would thrive with the extra space and driving lanes it would create for them. Just look at the driving lanes Steve Novak created for James and McNeal during their freshman year. Wallace and Sapp would be much more ineffective without Hibbert and the Princeton style offense that Gtown runs.

Last seconds...3.3 seconds left...tied...GTown inbounds...Wallace to Freeman, jumper, no good...OT.

GT wins in OT.

I think Wallace is light years ahead of either MU guard and Sapp is at least equal. Wallace is shooting nearly 50 percent (40 on threes) and Sapp's around 45 percent.

Georgetown can be had at the BC, no doubt about it. The issue will be how our guards handle their length on the perimeter. I did notice a habit that might help get Hibbert into foul trouble... he comes too far out when hedging screens. Gray did the same thing and MU took advantage of it.

Syracuse will be out of gas by the end of the season, MU's guards are much better than theirs, and Flynn has a tendency to make really bad decisions when pressured.
