It's Sam.  But Theo has another great game too!

GooooMarquette

Sam.

Huge props to Theo, Brendan and Sacar.

Archies Bat

Sam, but could have been Markus for forcing others to step up.

GURU.  His RAGE at his KEYBOARD was felt in DC and MU RESPONDED and proved guru RIGHT.
I'm just glad he was ready to pounce on any COUCH FAN who was going to make excuses if we lost without MH!! DON'T accept MEDIOCRITY people!!

Sam. No doubt. Theo and Brendan so important. Wojo's 2nd half decision to switch Sacar onto Mcclung and let Bailey defend Akinjo was huge too.

Wojo - for keeping JC firmly on the bench.

Seriously, all 5 guys on the floor for the last 10 minutes played outstanding games, but the prize has to go to Sam.
Both of them.

Sam. For both scoring and running the point. But my goodness many players are worth mentioning. Theo for obvious reasons. Bailey for scoring and defending a talented point guard. And Sacar, who completely shut down McClung once he switched onto him when Bailey came in and stuck to Akinjo.

What an effing win. I'm fired up. Won't be falling asleep for a while.

Oh, and by the way, Joey put up 10/8/6 tonight too. Lots of big games from the whole team.

This was really a fun one to watch. Let's hope Markus and Ed get healthy, and all the guys gain some momentum and confidence from a game tonight.

Sam, for sure, but your first comment is not wrong.  With JC the only real PG left on the roster, a lot of coaches would have stuck with him a lot longer.  He was so brutal tonight, a few more minutes of him may well have spelled defeat.

Theo, Sacar, Joey and Bailey are 2 thru 5.  Bailey was wonderful and confident.  Very good to see.

Tonight I think it is obviously Sam.

But:
- great to see Theo continue to step it up.
- great to see Sacar do another great all around game.
- even greater to see Brendan have his breakout game. He had so many good plays that if Sam hadn't gone off he would have been an easy choice.
- good all around game from Joey (forget the phantom foul).
Chart and Jamal - ouch.

Silkk the Shaka

1.) Sam
2.) Theo
3.) Sacar
4.) Bailey
5.) Joey

All were studs though

No doubt... Sam.

However, Theo got all their bigs in foul trouble. Took them out of the game and scored. The man is a force!!!!

Sam is the obvious choice but theo and bailey.  My goodness

Im just glad that chart has solidified his spot on the bench after that performance in favor of playing bailey here on out.

POST of the NIGHT!!

Sam, Sam, Sam

But kudos to the rest of the guys for pulling together and pulling this one off without Markus.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

They don't win without the game Bailey played.

Teal?

Because there isn't a soul with a scintilla of hoops knowledge who could be suggesting that the Warriors do win without the game Sam played.

Defense was noticeably better with BB, but you can't not give it to Sam.

I'll stick with my opinion on Gold.  He'll be in foul trouble within the first eight minutes.

Marcus92

Sam had the best game of his Marquette career so far. He was a threat almost anywhere on the court, inside or out. His mid-range game tonight was a thing of beauty. Plus good defense, rebounding and leadership. Stud.
