Teams have figured us out. We have no inside game -- none. And if our guards are kept in check, we are eminently beatable -- and by wide margins.

No, I am not suggesting all hope is lost. But our losses to West Virginia, Louisville and Connecticut should leave no doubt to anyone, including the diehards here, that with such awful big players up front, we can be beaten by pretty much any team in the Big East.

We have some of the worst big men in the conference. Not the worst, maybe, but darned close. Neither Ousmane Barro nor Dwight Burke should hold a position of such great responsibility at this level of collegiate basketball.

Their inadequacies and unreliability will continue to kill us as we move through the Big East season. Just watch.

Ajreed. Nothing inside. Crean has not brought anything in, and looks like the same next year.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Agree somewhat, but we had the same look last year and did OK.  I was overly optimistic after the win at Wisconsin because the weakness I was worried about most was a team with bigs.  However as others have said, it's big and athletic that we can't deal with.  We've just played two of those teams.  GTown has a few of those too.  In fact Hibbert will be their easiest big to deal with for us.  Remember the game the South Florida guy had against us last year?

I don't think we'll do much worse than last year in conference.  But we probably won't end up doing much better either.  Maybe Ooze and Burke, or even Blackledge will step up so that we fare better against those teams, but I'm not sure it's in them.
