How bad are we missing Tyler Herro right now? Throw him in this lineup and we would be legitimate national title contenders. He is looking like a mid first rounder possibly lottery pick after this season. We only would have had him for one year but it would have been worth it.

Not at all missing him.  Good luck at Kentucky.

BCHoopster

Right now he is ranked about 53rd on one draft.  Not sure he is ready yet, awful skinny.  Not sure how he would have fit with Markus, only one ball.

JakeBarnes

We'd probably be missing Joey Hauser then, if some reports are correct.

Rather have Joey.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Funny, but not relevant.

Hope your son has a great career.

He would be perfect fit here.  But we all knew this a few years ago too.   I'll go out on a limb here and predict he averages 18-20 rest of the day.

I've watched a few KY games and have been impressed. He would fit really well next to Markus. Plays off the ball for Kentucky. Seems to pick his spots well and by no means is a chucker. While he has a ways to go on the defensive side ( as most frosh do) he has definitely improved.

18-20 what per day?

Dude. Really? Posting and then replying to your post with another account. Classic.

New scoop accounts to defend an impossible scenario?

Shocking that the '2' of you would simultaneously disappear for months only to  'coincidentally' return on the same day discuss the only subject you have ever posted about.  Astonishing.

Sorry, rest of the way.

He is definitely not a chucker.  The guy we had here last year was a chucker.

I know Cheesy but I'm not one in the same.  We just thought it would be prudent to remind you who was right about Herro after another year has played out.  Glad to see we are finally getting some other support on this site.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

No one ever said Herro wasn't a great player.

We just disagreed with over the top statements like "he put Wisconsin high school basketball on the map"

Glad he's doing well. Would have loved to have him. I'm more glad that we have Joey.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

JamilJaeJamailJrJuan

I will keep Joey.

Herro is good though.  Would have been fun.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

MU wasn't blue blood enough for Herro.

Pretty sure that if anyone is missing Herro, it's the rodents. Once he decommitted and the blue bloods got involved, he never seemed interested in sticking around.

Anyhow, I'm perfectly happy with Joey. I would never refuse to take a one-and-done, but would rather build a program around 3 and 4 year players.

GoldenEagle323

Herro is a great player but cannot defend. He can score the ball from anywhere tho

If that's the case, why isn't Kentucky better?  If he is the missing piece for our 3 and 4 star talent, why isn't he taking them to the promised land with all of their 5 star talent?
