Going on the road in this league is a b i t c h.

Plain and simple. 12-6 might win this league....13-5 almost certainly.

Louisville's Big men need some work - obviously  ;D
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

This was a classic trap game for UL.  They played extremely well against a good team in MU, then go on the road and lose to a lesser team.

Pitt did the same thing with a win against Duke, followed by a shellacking by Dayton.  And then they beat Georgetown decisively, turn around and lose to Cincinnati.  And before you put Cincy at the top of the heap, Cincy beats Louisville, then turns around and loses to St. Johns.  MU won big against Providence, then played poorly against WVU.  Ditto our big win over ND followed by a loss at Louisville.

I think one of the toughest jobs in coaching is getting a team mentally prepared for the game following a big win.  Players take an over-inflated sense of self-assurance based on the ease and size of victory in one game into the next, and I think, take that next opponent for granted.

Perhaps, but I do not see Georgetown losing 5 games.

In addition, SH is a pretty decent team. Lets face it, they were hurting playing us and we barely got a W at home against them. It is no gimme for us to win @ SH.
