I'd be pissed if I was Kansas State.  It was bad both ways, but the officiating destroyed a lot of flow to the game, and took a less-deep KS out of their game.

It most certainly did.  And let's credit Markus and Sacar for knowing what to do to maximize the advantage.  Markus' wave goodbye was the first swagger we've really seen from him this year.  And a damn good sign.

I'd like to hear Wojo say .. MU didn't win because of the refs, K-State didn't lose because of them, but that crew should not see another college basketball game. 

The number of stupid non-shooting fouls was off the charts, both ways.  Not to mention a ton of shooting fouls NOT called.   If those 3 bozos show up at Shake Shack for their freebie, they should be denied.

Great moment by a fan behind the MU bench who was on the Jumbotron, visibly reacting to one of the reffing crew's travesties in utter consternation .. who then got the left and right student sections yelling back and forth.   That guy should be the new "jump around" guy on the Jumbotron.

.. the Chaluparena was maybe 90% full .. frankly, I didn't think it was very loud.  I suppose MU was up most of the game so the crowd wasn't "needed."  I kinda wonder, the stadium is so voluminous that sound dissipates in the space.

Also, what the hell is with the long lines for the men's bathrooms?  It takes effort to screw that up.

Disagree. I looked around a lot .. The lower bowl had a surprisingly high number of empties, scattered around.  It was mostly full, but several hundred empty, not even counting the 8-15 rows of empty student section.

1. Great work, tower, and great work Warrior Eagles!
2. I rarely complain about the refs, and I'm not really "complaining" this time, either, because I think we generally will benefit from a tightly called game because of Markus' ability to draw bumps and hit FTs. But that was a really poorly officiated game. Both fouls/techs situations were awful, especially Sam's.
3. It's games like this that get me thinking Markus really can be an NBA player. Tremendous variety to his scoring game, although he does need to be a better ballhandler and distributor.
4. If I would have told you before the game that we would get 9 points combined from the Hausers, what would you have predicted the outcome would be?
5. Outstanding defensive game by Wojo's boys. Also, very impressed with the rebounding throughout.
6. Glad to be back. I was exiled for a week because the mods didn't like my political signature, which I guess was worse than others' political signatures. Whatevs. I stayed away an extra week because I didn't like the negativity after a great win against a good Louisville team. So I'm tanned, rested and ready, and thrilled to have a wonderful victory to talk about.
7. Bonus: The girls HS team I asst coach is 4-0 and ranked #5 in the Charlotte metro region. Lots of winning! (Except the Panthers, dammit.)

While true, most casual readers would interpret an unranked team beating a highly ranked team as an upset. I get why they ran that.

Sacar is a better option and Bailey has apparently passed him up. Bailey is bigger and taller and is just as athletic.

I love when an opposing player shoots a shot or Free throw after the whistle and Theo goaltends the ball so the shooter doesn't see the ball go through the hoop.
Also, on the jump ball Theo won't stop until he gets it—I think for the same mental edge that HE got the ball and YOU didn't.

Big win against a good team.  Preseason I predicted 10-3 non conference, and if we'd lost today there would have been a lot of pressure to win out.  I think we can still win out, but the path to 10 non conference wins is now that much easier.
