The TV game announcers have been saying Elliott is due back around mid-December. Hopefully, that's correct.

What about Ike Eke? Haven't heard anything. Is he ever going to play for MU?

He is still having back issues.  My guess is that they will try for a sixth year, but I have my doubts.

At this point, I'd be surprised to ever see him on the court in a Marquette uniform. Too bad, because I like his potential, but a big man that young with so many persistent back problems just seems like a tough road to hoe.

Gotta love autocorrect.

Having Elliott back before conference play would be nice for sure. Hopefully Ike gets well eventually.

I have noticed Greg's energy on the sidelines and what a dapper dresser he is but I have not noticed if he still has a cast/brace on his hand. Anyone know what the actual timeline is? Is he practicing?  Last year he did not have a good handle on the ball and I assume that had to do with his hand injury. People are talking like he will play point. Is that really where he will get his minutes?

I think that's people talking out of hope because they don't like Markus playing PG.

My guess is that the best we can hope for this year is doing kind of what Sacar has been doing.  Playing good defense.  Putting the ball on the floor and taking to the hoop occasionally.  Probably scoring more.

He will play a role and hopefully an emerging one as the season goes on.
