I know it's one game but, 5th year wojo team and this is the showing. Another like this should be an early firing....to much talent to waste the entire year.

Wow.

People blast Buzz, but his teams ALWAYS competed, they were tough, and most of the time when they got down, they would always at least get back into it...miss Buzz so much.

Not true. Buzz’s teams also got blown out from time to time.

I mean, they had some really bad performances when Buzz was coach.

Not as many as Wojo has strung together. Looking like it will be another 1,807 days before we’re ranked again

You’re right! We should give Wojo a contract extension! He’s a genius!!!

If you take not judging three games into the season as encouragement for a contract extension, that's all I need to know about you.
I'll stick with my opinion on Gold.  He'll be in foul trouble within the first eight minutes.

Comparing buzz to Wojo isn’t fair.  Even if buzz’s teams got blown out, at least they accomplished post season success

True but I never remember a time when I felt a Buzz coached team lacked basic fundamentals and was not well coached. I feel that way tonight and i have felt that way a lot over the past few years.

I was talking about Deane with a coworker as we walked out of the office tonight. Of course, it was about the "rumors" he frequented bars with students rather that his coaching prowess

Yes, from time to time they did, it happens. But..the biggest thing is, even when they did, they would fight and would go on runs at some point to at least make games somewhat interesting...there have been too many of these under Wojo in year 5 now..Losing is one thing, but to get your doors blown off by a middle of the pack Big ten 10 is utterly embarrassing(no, it's ZERO consolation Nova got blown out too). Given the expectations etc, this is one of the WORST showings in 5 years under Wojo...year 5, his best team(supposedly), and this is the showing they give?? SOMETHING is very wrong.

I’m not judging three games into a season. I’m judging four years and three games into a career. Take your L man you’re just wrong.

Always would mean always, and that isn't true.  There were some bad games with Coach Williams.  Some high profile games.

Previous seasons have nothing to do with tonight, in case you didn't notice Henry ain't out there.

And another thread hijacked with the Wojo/Buzz comparison.  Never ends.

Now back, IU has scored 5 of 6 last baskets on layups.  Make that 6 of 7.  Not unusual, but brutal.

IU shooting 64% and 45% from three.

I just don’t remember one time in the last 5 years thinking that we are a well coached team. I don’t think you have to be a good team to be well coached. We seem to have all the talent to be a top 25 team this year, and yet I don’t recall one easy basket tonight set up by our offense. Lots of one on one tonight and difficult shots.

Crappy games happen. Move on. A game like this goes a long way for the coaching staff to determine who gets minutes and who spends more time on the pine.
