I'd have no problem with Theo, Markus or Sam.

Knowing that Markus and Sam will win a bunch of these makes my heart want to give it to Theo ... something that's easier for me to say because it wouldn't be charity at all.

Theo had a heck of a game.

Theo had as many offense rebounds tonight (5) as the entire UMBC team. Stud.

Thought the ball stuck too much with markus. He had an open guy a 5+ times and held the ball too long.

Not concerned about his shooting. Just wish he'd move the ball a little quicker. Too many times he took 4 stationary dribbles and passed to a guy who was no longer open. Maybe that decision making improves with time on the floor.

I'd go with Sam. Theo/Markus HM

Definitely Markus for floor leadership.   Theo only had easy rebound/putback dunks.

Theo was the leading difference maker in this game.

Markus will have plenty of SOTGs but you can't tell me shooting 2-12 and 5-16 warrants that consideration. You've gotta know when to fold em and he didn't.

Markus.

Guy had an off night shooting. Yet, he still managed to lead scorers, drop an impressive stat line and found other ways to be very helpful to the team.

Buddy I was with said it felt like they were trying to pad his stats towards the end of the game. I wouldn't blame them if they were. Gotta have big numbers if he's to be considered for any of the end of season awards.

Theo, favorite item of the night was in the 2nd half when Theo got called for a questionable charge in the post and he responded by poppin' the guns.

1.  Markus had a great floor game.  He's not going to shoot 50% or better for the year behind the arc, but he had 7 assists and only 2 TOs.
2.   Theo was a beast.

Let's be thankful Sammy's ankle didn't turn out to be a bad injury, hey?

Undoubtedly Markus. Flirted with a triple double and absolutely ran the game like a lead guard. Shooting was off but was on in every other way and made every other player on the floor better. Easy choice.

I wouldn't be opposed to Markus, but that shooting was poor.

UWW2MU

Theo for sure.

Markus looks much improved in leading on the floor and handling the ball... but I thought he took a couple shots that didn't need to be taken and didn't get the ball to teammates at all the right times.  These are small and nitpicky thoughts though, as more often than not he'll make many of those shots and his passing/handling game is so much improved.

Dammit.   So many jokes that are no longer appropriate.

Theo. I can't give it to Markus with such a woeful shooting performance. That's his bread and butter.

It was, but he was in control. You could see that from the jump. He was surveying the court better, getting inside to grab boards, and even his improved defense, he was simply the best guy out there.

Theo had a great night, and Sam was also good, but Markus was the most indispensable guy on the floor.

My vote: Theo

I'm excited by the prospect of that guy being completely opened up now to playing his style. Who cares now with so much depth.

Imagine going up against this guy? Very intimidating and he was going up against some super weak-looking guys. Setting a physical tone down there impacted the game significantly (UMBC, but still, a good sign).
