Brad Davison is not better than Ethan Happ.

Kamar Baldwin is not better than Shamorie Ponds.

Eric Paschall is not the 16th best player in the country.

Small sample size, but Tremont Waters deserves to be in there rather than just missed the cut.

Also doesn't seem very high on Cassius Winston who may be the second best guard in the B14, only behind Purdue's Edwards.

Pretty poor list IMO

Lol Tremont Waters isn't in there?  He'd be in my top 20 for sure.

As much as it pains me to say, I think Davison may be all Big 10 this year.

Over who? I would think a combination of Edwards, Winston and Langford would have the guard spots locked down. Happ will probably get one of the forward spots, but Davison is well behind those three guards.

over Edward's. If purdue.takes a big step back, and Wisconsin jumps them in the rankings, I could see Davison.making all Big10

No chance. Edwards is going to be a preseason all American of some sort. He is one of the favorites for big 10 POY.

Davison isn't in his class.

Most pundits I've heard have Edwards as a lock for first-team All-American and he's in the mix for national Player of the Year, which is where Andy Katz has him. He's also the highest ranked returning player on this list (for whatever that's worth) behind 4 freshmen.

I'm sorry, but I just can't see it.  I don't think Purdue will be as good as they were last year, but as far as predicting all conference players in August goes, I think Edwards is one of the safest bets out there.  Legitimate player of the year candidate IMO.  Its also worth noting that Davisons usage will likely decrease with the addition of Anderson and the returns of King and Trice.

The Big Ten names 15 all-conference players, and Davison was in the top 5 Freshmen last year. I don't know how many of the top 15 left to pros or graduation, or who the top rated incoming frosh are, but it certainly doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility that a returning top five frosh would be a candidate for one of 15 all-conference players in his sophomore year.

Furthermore, as far as I can tell, they don't have quotas by position, and even if they did, there would be six guard spots.  So it would there would be plenty of room for Edwards, Winston, Langford and Davison on the all-big 10 team.

To me, all B14 implies 1st team.  If you want to argue that he could make 2nd or 3rd team that's different.

When you come back and say that he'll make it over Edwards, you will be fighting a losing battle.  No way someone goes from not even making third team (although he did make all Freshman) to first team, taking the spot of someone who did make 1st team last year and is a strong all american candidate.

Nice.  Our 2nd best player is 22nd best in the nation.

Report from CP3 camp from ESPN

• Although he struggled defensively, 19-year-old Markus Howard put together some impressive sequences on offense, making shots off the dribble and using the threat of his pull-up to change speeds and get into the paint. He's a versatile shooter with outstanding touch and developing savvy around the rim. Still more scorer than playmaker, he has room to improve his court sense and ability to create for others. Howard has done a really nice job with his frame, trimming some body fat and adding more burst to his game. His -'0 wingspan and average athleticism hinder his NBA intrigue, but he figures to build on his monster sophomore season with another highly productive junior campaign at Marquette.

So pretty much he's what he's been.  Not complaining because he's been great, but he's an elite scorer but average at best distributor and defender.
