lol i love how the cops wait for him to prove there's no bomb first, but then rush in there once there's clearly no danger and form tackle him.

I'm one to back cops .. but I think the tackle was far too aggressive.   

He wasn't armed, wasn't in a threatening stance, and didn't need a violent takedown that could have cracked his skull.
