The Athletic is reporting that if no deal is reached by the end of Sunday, YTTV will issue $20 credit to customers - to be redeemed toward each customer's next statement.

Well shyte, that doesn't do he any good because I plan to cancel YTTV if they don't have a deal before my next statement comes due.

Just signed up for DirecTV. Had to give credit card and other info, but oh well. Will cancel Wednesday and pay $0.00.

Thanks for this, signed up this AM for the MU game today and MNF tomorrow.

Just checking back in here.

YTTV gave me a 2 week credit the other day. Middle of the week. In order to get it I had to use their "chat" system. I received this in addition to the $20 that they are advertising as a credit. In order to receive a higher credit I need to go higher up than their initial chat level.

DirecTV gave me a free 15 day trial.

Google doesn't really care if people cancel because YTTV is such a minuscule part of their overall business. A million cancellations won't even be noticed on their bottom line.

A huge difference from when Disney had people canceling after the Kimmel thing.

So no packer game on youtubetv tonight. Looks like direct tv's online portal has completely crashed, only able to call now.
