Student seats behind both baskets starting this upcoming season

Not sure if someone already brought this up.

Students will be behind both baskets this year.  Administration looked at putting students on the sidelines on camera, but too big a financial hit.  Instead it will be a bow tie ribbon formation.  All students in the lower bowl.

BTW, I enjoy watching Marquette men's LAX and am excited about the success they've had for such a young program, but if Joe Amplo wanted to let them spend one or two practices a week coming up with stuff for the student section at bball games, I'd be ok with that.

I am deliriously excited about the new arena!!!  For the first time in 30 years MU will once again have a true college basketball hime court advantage fir mote than 1-2-3 games a year.  Like the Mecca or home court will once again become an advantage and win us a handful of games a year, versus the horrible horrible BC that i guarantee few teams feared.  Just look at the hime losses this year, put those fames in the mecca ir the new stadium and we prolly win half of them.

I agree that the MECCA was much tougher for opponents than the BC. Still, I don't think I'd describe the BC as horrible in comparison to plenty of other high majors. And we did have the bat...
