Assistant Coaches in 2003-2004
« on: April 18, 2018, 03:27:26 PM »
Does anyone know who the third assistant coach (besides Jeff Strohm and Kyle Green) was in 2003-2004? I've looked around but I can't find anything on the muscoop wiki, mu athletics site, or google.

I would've guessed Dwayne Stephens

I think Horn and Stephens left after the F4 year. Apparently replaced by Green and Ellis. Strohm was the only assistant coach who stuck around after the F4 year.

Ellis has been a part of every final four in our program's history? That's kind of a badass thing to have on your HoF card

MU lost the National Championship Game in 1974 to North Carolina State, so there's a third final four.  Also, I think people are saying that Bo came on board after the final four year, so Bo was just around for the big one.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Bo was a frosh on that '74 final four team

Yeah, quite the “doofus” considering his record as a head coach at Western Ketucky. Too bad for him he was clean in the SEC.
