Are they good to go today? Haven't seen any injury updates since the Haaaarvarrd game.

Based on Sams usage in the 2nd half Wednesday, I'd be a little surprised to see him go today.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

What's wrong with sam

He has a hip problem that will require post-season surgery.

Bad hip. Will have surgery when the season is over. Supposedly not serious operation but needs to get done. Been playing with it for at least 4-5 weeks. He hardly played in the 2nd half versus Harvard and was clearly hurting.

besides the generic 'hip issue' does anyone know the exact issue?  i'm not an orthopedist but i have had hip surgery so, using the criteria of people opining on Ike's back because they had back issues, i'm a resident hip expert.

The bigger concern for today is his knee.

So are they playing or not?!?

The only thing I've seen on any board is that his femoral head is too large for the acetabulum, causing pain (and impingement?).  Likely arthoscopic surgery to shave down the bone.

But due to HiPIAAI who really knows.

Thanks - i forgot about the HHIIIpAI privacy aspects.

Hopefully the impingement isn't too big.  I had an impingement and torn labrum and the rehab absolutely sucked.

Well Sam is a "probable starter" according to MUBB twitter.

Been playing with it all season. It just has gotten worse in the last 4-5 years

Mea culpa. Weeks

To be fair, the last 4-5 weeks have felt like 4-5 years.
