Haha. Yeah. Must watch. Good lord.

GGGG

I'll watch. Why not?  Some MU ball is better than no MU ball.

warriorfred

Meh.  Good experience.  That is all.

Not a soft bubble this year.  Championship showdown with the domers?

Hope we get the nicest seed in college basketball

We can win it.  As long as we're not one of the teams that plays it apathetically and bows out after the first game at home.

My guess if we get in NIT 2-1.

Stinks we have to resort to cheering for the NIT.. What happened to the glory days.

The left when Bob Wild left and Cottingham got fired = Buzz Williams out the door.

Why would anyone cheer for the NIT. The last time it was relevant was when Al won it. Call it the WCT, Wojo's Consolation Tourney.

Who is cheering for the NIT? Just cheering for MU.

I'm reaaaallly bummed we didn't make the NCAA.

But the glory days we told the NCAA to shove it and won the NIT in '77 right.

Boom. Let's do t again

No, 77 was the NCAA Champ

NIT under Majerus, o'Neill, Deane, Crean.  Prefer it to the nothing of two years ago.

I cheer for the name on the front of the jersey.  Where I went and my daughter attends now.  A chance for this team to earn valuable experience playing in a tournament atmosphere.  Those are good things.  Why would anyone NOT cheer for their school?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I don't like our odds in a tournament format including the NIT. Way too inconsistent and we don't defend

Cause of being pissed off, that's why.

I am with you on cheering for the program. I said several days ago, only time I did not cheer for MU was end of Dukiet era, and that was 3-4 game period hoping for a change. Only change I am hoping for today is, that the program looks a shitload better a year from now than it currently does.

Maybe the extra wide lane the NIT is using will mean fewer layups given up by MU.

Even if I am disappointed with who and/or where they are playing, I will ALWAYS cheer for Marquette to win.
