Looking at scores from yesterday, Texas lost to Missouri, Vandy lost to Kentucky... and Michigan St lost to Iowa 43-36 (36 points in a game, are you serious?)... do we move above all three teams, or what does everyone think?

I think we leapfrog Texas and Vandy.  MSU may be a different story, because they would have to drop further, but I'm with you - 36 points???  So, I'd say we pass all three.

I'm thinking MSU drops to 10.

MU moves up to 13.

washington state and msu losing might negate the texas and vanderbilt losses. MU might move up 1 place

dwaderoy2004

that doesn;t make any sense.  All four teams are ranked ahead of us.  it's not like WSU and MSU will leapfrog us and take texas and vanderbilt's spots.  we move up 2 spots...

I agree.  I don't know off hand how the teams ahead of us did earlier this week, but based on yesterday's games we move up 2 spots.  If Indiana loses today, it should be 3.

we will see tomorrow i guess. sometimes teh rankings don't make any sense either. remember that amazing win @ the kohl center, how did that help our ranking?

well moving up in the rankings depends on if you don't lose and if the teams around you lose, thats how you move up.  When we beat the Badgers, I don't think many teams around us lost, if any, thats why it wasn't a big jump...  I am just pointing out that now, since we are in conference play, more and more teams are losing that are around us, and I can see this being a week we jump up some spots, my guess is 3 (although Mich St should be punished for scoring 36 points... to Iowa?)  Still blows my mind.

(15) Mississippi lost to Tennessee. Too.

I'll stand by my 3 spots.
