I love it too! We're at the hospital one more night, and I can't even watch the game because they only have ESPN for sports.

I'd abandon them immediately!

I don't want to come home to find all my stuff on the lawn. My presence the first night is the only reason Holly is still sane (took 4 hours of calming the agitated Microbrew so she could sleep).

DePaul fans definitely not taking advantage of home court advantage the way we were able to last year.
As a senior last year I can confidently say that the championship game was in the top 5 exciting sports moments of my tenure. Place was packed and bumping

I would say that the crowd is at least 40% Marquette fans.
Have some patience, FFS.

Steamrolled......it happens but you'd rather it not happen going into the Tournament.

Probably a 7 seed......hopefully they can win a game.

A big shout out to all of you who made the trip. Good showing. DePaul shot like our men's team does when en fuego. Sometimes you just got to tip your fedora to the other team. Hopefully Coach Kieger can get them ready for the NCAAs. They seem to be trending a little down recently.

The good news is that DePaul can't bank any of that margin for the men's team tomorrow night.

Hope they can put that performance behind them and bounce back in the NCAA Tournament.

Me too.  On the mens side at least, it seems like big conference tourney performances often lead to early NCAA exits, but sometimes teams that go down early in conference show up stronger in the NCAA.  Hopefully the same applies here.

This was the women's BET conference championship game .  Did not go down early.

Not bad, but I had to wait at least 5 minutes after my order for the food to come out of the window.  It was the beginning of halftime; didn't they think they should start cooking stuff in anticipation?

Ha, ha. Wintrust is Allstate II with slightly better sight lines. MU has yet to win there, though. Place is cursed.

I'm aware.  Just musing on how success in conference tournaments (like the women had last year) can lead to complacency in the NCAAs, just like failure in the conference tournaments (a 35 point beat down certainly qualifies) might be motivating.

For all the complaining we've had about the men in the BET, it really is amazing how poorly we've done there vis a vis the big dance.

2017: BET 0-1, NCAA First round loss (0-1)
2014-2016: BET 2-3 overall, no NCAAs
2013: BET 0-1, NCAA Elite Eight (3-1)
2012: BET 0-1, NCAA Sweet 16 (2-1)
2011: BET 2-1, NCAA Sweet 16 (2-1)
2010: BET 2-1, NCAA First round loss (0-1)
2009: BET 1-1, NCAA Second round loss (1-1)
2008: BET 2-1, NCAA Second round loss (1-1)
2007: BET 1-1, NCAA First round loss (0-1)
2006: BET 0-1, NCAA First round loss (0-1)

2011 is the only year where the men did well in BOTH the BET and the NCAAs, though there are years we did poorly in both.

I was underwhelmed when I went to the DeBacle a couple weeks ago.  The seating and visibility are fine...the concourses seemed cramped.

Someone told me the announcers were raving about the lighting in there.  I felt like it was just a newer version of All State Arena as someone else also said.
