BE Conference 3PT Shooting
« on: February 18, 2018, 11:36:01 AM »
MU leads the BE in treyland conversion at 40.6% in conference games, 15th nationally in all games. Impressive, but not a surprise considering our usage guys are Andrew and Markus. But, digging down into conference games where defenses adjust (and where there is now enough sample size), I found some surprising stats.

  • Andrew (36.5%) and Markus (38.0%) are down slightly from non-con as defenses adjust to them.
  • Sam is the same (49.3%)
  • The Detroit Duo are on a roll. Greg at 62% on 8-13 and Jamal at 50% on 12-24. Many of these have been clutch at key moments. To have these two combined to hit 54.5% is huge.
  • Sacar is shooting 42% on 5-12. This is a big improvement from Brick City in non-con. Harry is 1-11, but has been shut off mostly as he hasn't taken a three in four games.

Sharing the wealth helped win the game yesterday.
