I mean, having your leading scorer is usually pretty important. Especially when you rely so heavily on 3 players.

It's painful watching Marquette where we have no guards that can create for others.  I think Elliot's actually shown a better ability than Howard or Rowsey.  I'd still like to see Marquette open the 2nd half with a zone.  If guys can split our defenders man-to-man, then at least they'll have the down-low help with the zone.

I should add...it's painful watching Froling, John, and Heldt chasing guards at the top of the key after switches, when the guards also didn't properly switch and instead let the cutter run free for a layup

No, I think the backups can do just as good of a job committing dumb fouls, letting ball handlers blow by, and letting cutters run free for layups.  We'll miss his shooting, though

I love that we're playing zone and just letting our bigs camp out down low.  It's nice to see the bigs getting boards instead of our guards fighting against the opposition.  Nice run so far.
