Look In previous threads. Statistics show with Andrew and Marcus on the floor, the teams defense is much worse

Yep, that's part of the reason I said that.  The argument for playing 35+ mins of both is that we're trying to outscore other teams.  But we're also giving up a ton of easy buckets.  I wonder if a few less minutes for each would help them each have a chance to run the floor on offense, while also giving them more energy to run around on D.  It's not like Anim and Elliott aren't adequate when in there

Gee, zone's working...go figure, some of us have been calling for it, ALL freaking year. Imagine that.

I agree.  I was hoping woj may try and have Rowsey or Howard come off the bench once.  (I know probably very unpopular) but what the hell.

Havent seen this many stops in 4+ seasons!!!
Our zone has looked bad at times this year, but the argument has to be made could it possibly be any worse than our man!!??  Against SJU and Ponds i argued why did we go away from it.  Glad we at least gave it a try.  Has turned the game on a dime!!

For those who are ripping on us, we are playing well, we just took the lead.  I'm at the game, and seeing us making a bunch of shots.  We are getting CU to take a bunch o' 3s and taking advantage of their misses.

Big put back by Jamal.

the zone helps because we have our bigs firmly planted down low.  Creighton can't get an offensive board or 2nd chance pt

Eventually some 3s will fall for Creighton.  We’ve gotten lucky with a nice stretch of misses.  I hope I’m wrong

Coaching!!   Finally!!  I like the zone adjustment.  Now watch for the guy popping to the foul line.  That is how they are going to try and beat this zone.

I've seen enough of Theo for tonight...defense has been awful, doesn't use the glass on a bunny, now travels.

He's also responsible for at leave 7 points with his rebounds and fighting on the offensive boards

Sacar's development is a lot like McNeal and Blue.  defensive guy early, then defense and slasher.  Next year is his breakout

Yes.  And maybe also they need him and the big 3 aren’t taking as many shots.
