Matt might be close to his peak as a player, does everything well as you saw last night, except 2 bunny lay-ups.

For anyone taller than 6-10, I don't think there's anything more important, more key to your success as a basketball player, than bunnies.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Having back surgery probably will delay his growth as a player.  He supposedly is very raw.  Looking at him, he has a great frame for hoops.  Tall, different type of
player that MU does not have.  Quick, and can jump.  Might get in to play some D next year.  Not sure if he is even practicing yet?  Does anybody know?  Like his
attitude on the bench.
Ike has enormous upside; the coaches say he is the type of player that eventually guard all 5 positions. However given his back surgery it is hard to project when he will actually be back. It is unfortunate, as he would have benefited significantly from the red shirt year.

Ike does add value to the team as he is well liked and respected., so if he does not recover he steps into a Cam Marotta type role.

Speaking of transfers, just read an article on Duke losing 8 transfers in 8 years - this in addition to the 9 one-and-dones over that span.

Most programs have significant transfer action. We're actually lower than the average, if I'm not mistaken.

Is there a way to know where we would fall in terms of minutes or points transferring away? Unfortunately, we've lost more quality players than deep bench players in recent years, so even if our number of transfers is average or below average, I would guess we've been hurt more by transfers than the average school. On the other hand, we've benefited from transfers as well. Net net, transfers have probably been beneficial for us, but it still sucks seeing guys like Burton and Cheatham leave the program. Can't we have our cake and eat it too?
