Granted, I took some liberty when I said "photoshop" in the topic. However, it was hard for me to quickly come up with a better replacement of "editing media."

Anyway... this article focuses in on a very niche realm of photo/video editing. But what are the long-term concerns here? Any biased party/organization could get ahold of some original audio/video/pictures and alter them to portray what they want. Want to listen to a congressman say something racist? Done. Want to see your boss punch a co-worker? Done. Want to see your parent hit your sibling? Done.

Especially for those who aren't aware the technology exists (likely older people) to create "fakes" that are this believable, that certainly creates a very gullible target audience.

If you think of the end results here, can be pretty terrifying.

Back in my day, "Media Editing" was exactly that.... pick out the worst sports journalist you can find, copy/paste one of his most recent articles, make a few strategic edits, and let the masses run wild with it.

All this picture and video stuff is way too complicated.  Get off my lawn.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Obligatory photoshop post.

You got to hand it to UW.... they're really pioneering this whole augmented reality thing.

Two "W"s and the rest; pain and anguish.
Kinda like their record this season.
