I have a suspicion.   There is a new poster who is well written, acts like he has been around here forever, and has a moniker that can be taken as a slightly ironic jab at having been banned.      The thing with ners is/was, he actually had pretty good insight into basketball before the obsession started.    I liked and missed that guy.   He just wore me down after a while.

I wish to compliment the creators of MUScoop for the ignore function.

The frequency of my posting has decreased severely over the past few years. While I could spend hours and hours going through a cathartic self-psychoanalysis of the reasons for this decline, the truth is that the reasons can probably be summed up into one clear and concise statement, to wit:

I have nothing of value to add, cannot dunk a basketball, did not play high school basketball, or even middle school basketball, was pretty awful at every basketball video game ever made, beginning with Double Dribble and Jordan versus Bird, am getting older and less witty, insightful, and/or cheery, I dislike the act of typing, immensely, and Wojo is much more boring than his predecessors, even if a good ambassador for the university.

For those reasons, and many, many more, I made a decision to use the ignore function so as to ignore myself. No longer will my nonsensical posts ruin the otherwise beautiful flow to this wonderful message board. Thank you moderators and creators for giving me this opportunity to eliminate the heinous and toxic voice that is my own from this board.

Do you remember the obnoxious chaos on here before the recruiting thread? (And to a lesser extent the NBA thread) every day there was a new 10 threads all with people asking questions that have been answered. Could the thread be cleaned up? Yes, but it's better than the clusterf*ck things used to be.

Also none of those posters locked the threads the mods did, and can a moderator troll their own board? Not sure it's possible

Wait, someone actually commented about the way recuriuting posts are handled instead of offering insults, condensation and/or off topic comments.  Well done Bag.

Now to your point ... not saying the old way was better.  But this way is not good either.  Way too much crap to slog though in the never ending thread to get to the good stuff.  I ti s easier to google it or go to Dodds board.

Whoa, whoa.  Farting is hilarious at all ages.

Someone is grouchy this morning.

Accurate statement.  I did wake up grumpy.  Probably shouldn't post while grumpy.

Just think if everyone puts everyone on ignore then it is like, a like , a like no one is there but we all agree or do we all disagree?  Hmm, could simplify the equation if we just do not sign on but then we could ...

My one structural request for MUScoop would be to have ignore carry through quoted posts.

When was the last time you posted something that did not attack another poster?

I rarely post anything that attacks another poster.

Stop lying just because you got your feelings hurt, Smuggles. I would have thought the self-described smuggest dude in the room wouldn't be such a snowflake.

One of the greatest situational humor moments of all time gave rise to the iconic...wait for it...the whoooopeee cushion.  If ya can’t have fun and/or laugh at that-makes Johnny a dull boy
