RE: surgery, ppl locevto sat ?back surgery? when it deals with the spine... but most are either lumbar or cervical (neck). Would be good to know the level(s) affected. Sounds like lumbar, but would like confirmation.

Re: medical hardship waiver - it?s a non issue unless he misses a second year due to injury and wants to pursue a five year waiver rule. He?s a redshirt this year, plain and simple. The medical component will only come into playnif he?s out inna future year due to circumstances out of his control

So if he plays at MU next year, then transfers and has to sit out a year, can he apply for another year given his injury this year?
