i too strongly dislike Notre Dame.  i have no problem with their true fans that have a connection to the school.  the ones that i really dislike are the kids that walk around from grade school on with their ND gear and act cocky about it.  when approached and asked why they like notre dame since they have no ties to the university, all they have is their parents like them and because of the Irish.  hey kid, Ive got news for you, the only Irish guys on their elite football team are the kids squirting the water in the players mouths during timeouts.

all i know is that Marquette has been keeping pace with ND for the past couple years in terms of football wins against ranked opponents.

i for one am glad that my uncle went to Marquette and my parents raised me to hate ND.
