Yep, defending champs lose at home to Wofford, which was picked to finish 5th in the Southern Conference and had NEVER beaten a top-25 team (let alone top-5).

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the last 15 minutes of this game. Wofford's center Jackson manhandled UNC bigs at times and drew a huge charge on Berry late - a great call by the refs, too. Wofford stayed calm down the stretch while UNC panicked. And in the final few possessions, Ol' Cheatin' Roy was absolutely outcoached by whoever Wofford's coach was.

But hey, at least they didn't lose at home to "horrible" Georgia, which according to some Scoopers was the worst loss suffered by any team in at least 20 years.

Agree on the Berry charge.  When the ref pointed the other way, I checked again to see whose gym they were playing in.  But they got the call right.

..."Fletcher Magee scored 27 points to help the Terriers stun the Tar Heels 79-75 on Wednesday night, snapping UNC's 23-game home winning streak."

It was once written, on Twitter, back in September 2014...

Fletcher Magee is a great pickup for Wofford. Will make his mark there.

He didn't have his best game - only 52.2% eFG% during his 39 mins.. but 27 points to carry the scoring load and zero turnovers by the junior guard. Incredible season for him so far, but we saw that one coming a mile away, a1na?
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

IIRC we were recruiting his brother Fibber to try to get to him right?

These are the types of games that make CBB my favorite sport and i'm pissed i didn't have a TV on last night.

Roy actually admitted it was a "terrible, terrible coaching job."

Their last 2 possessions when they were still in the game, they got nothing resembling a decent shot.

Official Attendance: 16,017
Deandome Capacity: 21,750

At least not all of Carolina nation had to witness that beatdown.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
