I had tickets but my boss wouldn't let have the night off so I gave them to a friend. I was relieved to not have gone when he stopped in for a sub and told me what happened. I do have an incredible recording of the show and subsequent riot made by a friend in the audience that hung around recording quite a while after the ruckus started.

I was at the New Barbarians show riot the year before.
