In the more important things in life...daughter #1 just got her first law school acceptance and daughter #2 graduates from J-school in May. 

I love MU hoops, but when the game is over, these are the things that really matter.

MU ball is probably about 15th on my list of concerns/interests in my life. If it ever moves up on the school's priority list I might move it up in my life. Until then, I hope they win and do well. I would rather put the ticket money in collection basket at Mass at this point.

Sometime, long ago, the university forgot not only about student life, but what could also separate them from the Loyola's, SLU's, Fordham's, etc. of the academic world. Yeah, yeah we spend money, but apparently it's alright to be an also ran.

2.Winning in regulation (handily) against Eastern Illinois.

3.Pounding Lindenwood.

Other than that things have gone as expected.

Yep.  It was disappointing that we played so poorly today, but despite the sudden loss of Haanif, we are about where I thought we'd be right now.  Not too bad, all things considered.

I'm right where I thought we would be as well, not an NCAA tourny team. But that doesn't mean the fan base has to be ok with it.

We could have won today, the foul trouble hurt.  Rowsey didn't play well, but my kid mentioned why he got suspended based on what the students on campus are saying.  zhe isn't always as focused as he needs to be.  Maybe this will help him get focused.  Young team, limited in some areas.
