We are 158th again this year tied with Stonehill.

We need a Management and Board change ASAP. Their plan to make the school Chicago State north is a disaster.

This poll ,and the continuing down draft in the US News ranking , is going to eventually have major financial repercussions . People with money will not send their kids to a school with a fading pedigree .

That puts us in the 96th percentile. I'd like us to be higher and feel we are especially with the pedigree our PT and nursing programs have but 96th percent isn't a joke.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Below is MU's detail.  Resource and Environment dragged them down.  In reading the methodology is the answer to hire a lot more non-traditional faculty?

Wait a minute. MUFINY is saying Marquette's a disaster because of the low WSJ ranking.....but what's bringing us down is "Proportion of international students, Student diversity, student inclusion, Staff diversity"? MUFINY is the one who's been going on and on about how Marquette needs to stop recruiting diverse students!

Disco Hippie

Frustrating to lag CU in the BE but given the WSJ methodology I don't think MU fared poorly on this at all.  Quite a few schools that were ahead of us on US News' National University ranking this year are ranked considerably lower than Marquette here.  Obviously it would be better to be ranked higher but all things considered not so terrible.

The problem is we have no smart Asians , because we are dumbing down the grades and test scores. Asians are very brand conscious consumers of education.   If we put the standard up presto we get boffo marks on this score and have the stream of Asians necessary to compete not only on this ranking but USNews.

I'm going to assume you were trying to be sarcastic and make a joke; instead of doing your best Reggie White impression.

Probably a bad assumption, but consider this your 'out'.
