The Big East goes 3-0 today. Can we do it again tomorrow? I know our Warriors will do their part. Hopefully The Hall and Creighton get some big wins too. Let's go BEast!!

Wish Providence would have come through, but I'll take it.

Awesome made up for Cooley default yesterday. Let's keep up the progress.

Let's not count Providence.  They weren't really in the tournament, were they?

I like the way you think Legs. Let's keep rolling.

If Creighton takes care of business, and two 50/50 games--puts BE in good position,
hopefully for second round.

Most importantly, hopefully we win our 50/50!

Didn't see this thread when I commented on the Catholic one.

Interesting we root for types of teams.

When I was a in Michigan I would root for the state teams. Detroit with Vitale, MSU, UM, sometimes Central, sometimes Western, Oakland came along later. Eastern made some noise one year. Etc.

SoCalEagle

Oh that's pretty interesting. Was Detroit good back then?

Detroit was good. Underrated. Duerod, Long, Tyler...names a Detroiter would know. Tyler scored 40+ in an NBA game. McGuire called their field house the Zoo and it was.

I found myself rooting for UWM to win their tourney and think it would be great if they, MU, UWGB, and UW all made the tourney.

Do winners of the play-in games get credited a "unit" toward the NCAA credit payments to each conference?

Rhode Island scares me for Creighton. Pulling for CU, picked RI in most brackets.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

To be fair (Benny can probably correct me if I'm wrong), credits are assigned by an appearance in a game, win or lose.  But if you win, you will then get a credit for appearing in the next game too (unless it's the NC).

Edit: Confirmed.  Via Forbes "Conferences get a tournament unit for every non-championship game played by a conference member "

Rhode Island is one of three teams that I felt may have earned unrealistic optimism after the conference tournaments. The other two were Michigan and Duke.

That said, Michigan is about to advance.

The Hall stumbles and Creighton laid a big old stinky egg.

seton hall got "jazzed" by flagrant foul call at the end.  i know, it's the rules, but come on man!!  everyone knows the player is just trying to foul quickly.  this is the show man!  these refs out to be ashamed of themselves.  yes, hide behind the rule, but when they were in their huddle watching the replay, doesn't one or two of them say-come on guys, we cannot decide this game on an obvious foul situation.  the player wasn't trying to hurt the other.  in the middle of the game-different circumstances, but... >:( >:( >:(
felz Houston ate uncle boozie's hands
