Negative points for bein' a whiny, little b*tch.

Now nothing but a sad, bitter,  grumpy old man who once was one of the great coaches of all time but who now tarnishes his legacy every time he opens his mouth.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

It would be difficult to compile an all-time sports douchebag list without having him very near the top.

Me thinks Bobby's mind is slipping which was why ESPN edged him out.

Slipping?

It was 20 years ago he choked Neil Reed and 17 years ago that he throttled a student who had the temerity to call him "Knight." Listening to him as a broadcaster, it almost sounded like he had early-onset dementia, but I'll side with those who say he's simply a bitter old hack - and has been for two decades or more.

Maybe I should have added "further off the edge..."

Fantastic coach.  That is the only nice thing I can say about him.

Sure. But in college hoops, 75% (at least) of coaching is recruiting. He stopped being able to attract numerous top athletes because most of today's kids don't like playing for coaches who physically, verbally and mentally abuse them at every turn. Again, 2 postseason wins his last 6 seasons at IU for the great General.
