Or x wins n verifies our two wins on them?

Because it's better for the BE. And we beat X twice, and a loss to Depaul hurts their profile. X isn't moving ahead of MU, and a Depaul win does nothing for anybody.

It's not critical, because MU is dancing regardless, but rooting for X makes far more sense than Depaul.

7 in the dance sends a huge message.    Right now, I am rooting for every scenario that gets more Big East teams in.   As long as MU wins.   ;D

Hahaha, I'm not so sure the committee would allow all 7 BE teams a clear line to the Elite 8 without a couple of us playing each other in the round of 16....

But that would be awesome if we place 7 in the E8!!!  Suck it ACC!!!!

I'm unclear what the variable "n" represents in this situation.

They should, though. The only way conference teams should be able to meet before the Elite 8 is with 9+ bids. Keep conference mates apart.
