#5 Yes, yes! This team has a couple of  defensive deficiencies but what they are offensively is usually a ton of fun to watch. This team has grown immensely this year, kudos to them, and exceeded expectations. Good fun.

To go along with that, I really enjoyed that announcing duo last night. No clue who they were but they were fantastic.
Nick Bahe. I talked to him yesterday and told him how much I appreciate his homework and delivery. Great announcer, super nice guy.

I believe they also did the Xavier road game and were very good.

Warriors - I saw that and shouted "Yes!" in my living room and immediately thought the old timers will be very pleased.
This old timer was very pleased.

Totally agree.  The D really bothered me for much of the season, but good lord, can they put the ball in the hoop.  I've accepted the D for what it is and it's fun to watch the 3s pour in.  It can be so deflating to the opponent when they know it's coming and they still can't stop it.

Only thought is the fact MU missed five front ends of one/ones.  Two by Howard at 90%, was just strange but shows that possible nerves can effect any aspect.

#FTsNoMatta

FT%
Creighton 90.0%
MU 64.7%, and the missed front ends

ppp
Creighton 1.08
MU 1.18

I did.

I also caught the announcers saying "Warriors with Intelligence".

The announcers said that because that's what Wojo said on the "Inside the Huddle" segment.

No matter how good MU is defensively, when you have 2 teams that like to play fast and have the offensive ability that MU and Creighton both have, a lot of points will be scored and there will be a lot of made shots.  Is what it is.

I will say it again jjj did not get benched for 10+ minutes yesterday because he missed a dunk.  He got benched for absolutely standing n ball watching on defense thinking the game was won n he only needed to go to that end to rest inbetween times of playing offense.  His man back cut him for layins 3 times in about 4 possesions directly before the missed dunk.  Its been jjs same problem his whole career. Hit a few shots n literally forget about playing any defense whatsoever.

You continue to make up the same false story.  He got beat on the back cut twice in like an 8 minute span, the first coming off of a drawn up play out of halftime.  Him and Duane combined to hold what was the BE leading scorer going into the game to 10 points on 5/17 shooting.

Of course what I REALLY said is that FT% matters in a CLOSE GAME.

But you choose to use a sample size of 1 game that was close to a blowout to prove your point? Color me impressed.

You follow the worst trait of statheads. You think seasonal stats are equivocal to single game stats. That stats put up against a cupcake are equal to stats put up against a Top 10 team.

Of course FT% based on an entire season's stats don't matter.

But to say that when a team loses by 1 point and that team shot 55% from the FT line - and this had no effect on the game is beyond silly.

55%? For the average team, that would mean free throw shooting had a POSITIVE impact on their offense.

MU also has an offensive set called "Warriors". Wojo calls this set 4-5 times each game.

Missed a great moment -- "Warriors with Intelligence".
For me that would have been a "BIG YES".
