OK....Is it time for a change at coach? We can not finish a game.  We should only have 3 maybe 4 losses in conference.  Blown leads time after time with the best 3 point shooting team in America.  Too many turnovers down the stretch and panic.  That for me is head coach issue.  Wojo can recruit, not sure he is a head coach yet.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

As a frequent reader and sometime poster I am overjoyed to see this completely original and novel topic brought forward.  Insightful at the least.  Who would have thought that some people feel that Wojo should be fired - and some don't?  Made my day.  Thanks.

Could have had Shaka Smart, how is that working out for Texas?

We have improved each year, fighting for a NCAA berth currently and this is what you have?  Name a legitimate college program that fires their coach in year three when they have made step level improvements each year and fighting to make the postseason?

GoldenDieners32

This place is hard to read after a loss..

poman

Two games left in the season...he still hasn't found his rotation or even his starting five yet.  Consistency is a factor, that is on the head coach.  Halftime adjustments are on the head coach.  We have lost this season in the second half.  We have been outcoached!  He will be a good coach, just needs more time. ...I don't have the patience to wait.

GGGG

Some complain when he didn't make adjustments.  Now they complain when he does.

And the world keeps turning...

How about lack of consistency on Howard, one game 34, next 3, then 24.  Or Luke falling off the wagon, or who knows what you get from JJJ, (one constant on JJJ is
lack of hustle on the D end) or Sam from 19 to 5.  What is the coach going to do?  Not easy at all.  Matt is not a 15/10 guy but hustles every game.  Hard to believe that
Luke can not even play 20 minutes a game.  Tries to block every shot once they get pass the not so quick guards.  Jumps straight up and they call a foul on him every
time.  Not into that.  They could really use Elliotts quickness next year.  It is a shame Carter transferred,  would have played 20 to 30 minutes for sure with his quickness.  Wojo might have screwed up there.

poman

Luke fisher has been overrated and lazy since he got here.  Great coaches get the most out of their guys.  At the end of the day the question is simple...How do we lose so many games in the last 5 minutes?  Answer is coaching.

Signed, many other college basketball teams this happens too.  ::)

Carter, who's best suitor after transferring was LaSalle, would be 30 minutes, for sure?

20 at least just from a defensive perspective, and a pretty decent ball handler as well. Would have let Rowsey and Carter play the two, and bench Haanif more when he goes into one of his funk.

Can't take to much more giving games away. Mentioned in another
blog---"Hate to start all over again with a new coach". Would
probably lose recruits and program would be in a shamble. I
Bleed MU.

We would keep all the recruits with Stan. Stan is the man with a plan.

Yes, we hate the job this coaching staff is doing so much that we should fire them and then hire one of them back.

Well, if you send Wojo packing then prepare to wait three or four years for the "new guy" to rebuild. So, either way you better develop some patience. My guess is if Wojo fails to make the NCAA next season then he will likely be on thin ice.

Show me where the step level improvements are on defense each year.  Show me why this team lacks basic fundamental intuition on defense.

My dream scenario is that a desperate P5 school hires Wojo. We get the benefit of his contract buyout . Then we give Stan the job. He would likely keep Nelson .

The recruits are all tied into Stan.
