Over/under at 137.5

KPom has MU winning by two:  81-79

Whoa.
Color me surprised.
For all the doom and gloom I expected Xavier by 40.

But seriously... let's do this tonight guys.

Well the spread hasn't been our problem -- let's play like warriors today!!!!

Exactly ... Since Nova we were favored against Prov (-8), St. Johns (-2.5) and Butler was a Pk.  Lost all three.

We were +3 against Georgetown and lost by 18.

The only game we covered was Depaul (-9) ... won by 13

In fact if we just followed the Vegas line since Nova, we would have gone 3 -1 (with Butler a pk) and probably be looking at a 8 or 9 seed instead of being a bubble team.

Have to win the games that Vegas thinks we should win.

I am just thrilled that we have a weekend evening game.  I love going to Saturday night games.  Wish there were more of them.

Bucks/TV prioritize schedule / time....

Yeah I'm not sure how much more night games we will be getting without the Admirals to deal with.  TV seems to want games to take place in the afternoon.  Especially if FS1 is showing UFC.

Could happen. But Luke destroys Gaston in every statistical category so its a weird thing to expect.

True. Never seen someone hope an MU player sucks as much as sand-pit hopes for Luke.

Any word on Blueitt?
Paraphrase quote from Mack on Thursday: he's doing better, boot off at practice that day, jumped in one drill, they're being conservative. I, Windyplayer, say likely out for one more.

My sister is a Xavier alum and my brother is currently a sophomore at Xavier who is back in town for this game. They went to Xavier's event last night and word there was Blueitt will play. You never know until a player goes through pregame warmups though. So we'll see.

None. Their version of scoop seems to think he's out but nothing definitive. If he does play, I would imagine he would be slowed down. Hard to recover from a sprain in a week.

Gaston is playing like a beast the last couple games. Was really good against Nova and Providence this past week, though he struggles from the FT line big time.

Yes he has.....and they lost both of those games and had 2 of the lowest 4 scoring outputs of the season.

Sometimes when certain players are putting up big numbers it means the team is really struggling

Statistically and from a game outcome perspective I know you are right... but still, it's nice having two PGs both shooting over 90% instead of the sub-50% we had for a couple of years.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Glad they were wrong and he didn't play.  Heard he went through warmups but didn't give it a go, but not sure.

Hope he's back for their next game, but misses the next MU/XU game with the flu or something.  Then right back for the rest of the year.
