Act like you have been there before...Let the mid majors court storm when they knock off an IU for example. MU should be above court storming. It reeks of a small time program.

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

But we haven't been there before!

High majors court storm more than anybody. It's kids having fun. As long as they don't hurt anybody, I'm all for it. I almost got to storm the court two years ago when TAMU was up 4 on #1 Kentucky with under 30 seconds left. Ended up losing in double OT couldn't make a damn ft. Now I'm probably too old. Wish I got the chance.

There are a lot of court storming I find lame.

For example ISU because they beat Iowa as a ranked team was pathetic.

But us beating #1, unranked and after our last 3 seasons? I might even advocate for flipping a few cars!

As long as you're selective.

WE ARE MARQUETTE!

We don't storm courts.

We storm the lakefront.

We rip up parking meters.

We wreck airports.

We go crazy when we win national championships!!!!!

Unless you're a current student, you're too old to storm a court.

Nah general rule of thumb is anyone under 75 is good to go.

Not sure you understood brews point. If we win tomorrow then fines and staff will not stop the students from storming the court.

Butler stormed the when they beat Nova this season. I don't think they cared about a fine

I totally understand his point, beating the #1 team in the country is the perfect time for a court storming, buuuut it ain't gonna happen.

If I recall correctly, the BC staff bring out a fence at the under 4 timeout and puts it in front of the student section to negate any court stormings so the students may meet some resistance if they do try...

I hope Tuesday night goes in a way that means we get to see what happens! (Spoiler: Even with a Marquette win, the court will not be stormed)

As usual, I think many are projecting their unrealistic desires onto the current student section.

GoldenZebra

Its gonna be a long shot, I think MU keeps it closer this time around, but I just don't see a W. Nova has way too many weapons and MU still hasn't shown that it can be dialed in for 40 minutes. Yes, we beat CU on the road, but not having Watson was huge, despite how well the back-up played. The lapses in the second half were pretty glaring. Its unrealistic to think MU can shoot that well two games in a row.

If we storm the court then climate change and global warming must be real as that will be one hell of a storm.

I'm honestly not sure if people are joking. Would posters on here seriously partake in a court-storming as adults?

Yes.  I stormed with the students in '03 and '04 and I was in my 40s.  Just not in the first wave.  It was awesome!

Lets not get too carried away...yes MU played pretty good (offensively) and beat a top 10 team on the road. However, I dont know if Creighton will still be ranked in the next couple weeks, definitely not top 20.
Creighton is more than just Mo Watson.

Good lord. No one should be proud of that. It's all kinds of embarrassing. Court-storming is for students. Once you're no longer a student, you should be grown up enough to let the students have their fun without pretending like you're one of them.

You can go f*ck yourself and your "rules".  But don't pull any muscles doing it.
