I'm glad I didn't turn in my enthusiasm for life at the door when I left college.

"Enthusiasm for life" is different than "refusing to grow up."

No one enjoys his life more than I do. That doesn't mean that I embarrass myself and my family by pretending to still be a college student when I'm more than a decade removed from college. To each his own.

I'm honestly not sure if people are joking. Would posters on here seriously partake in a court-storming as adults?

Yeah that's literally what the court storming norm is.

It's pretty well known around college athletics

Your family, oh the horror!  It's not about pretending to be a college student; it's about celebrating a victory.  Do you allow yourself to even stand and cheer during the games?  Good lord.

Good lord. No one should be proud of that. It's all kinds of embarrassing. Court-storming is for students. Once you're no longer a student, you should be grown up enough to let the students have their fun without pretending like you're one of them.

As if walking across a stage is supposed to suddenly change you forever? I'm a few years out and in my mid 20s but I'd still damn well rush.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Its gonna be a long shot, I think MU keeps it closer this time around, but I just don't see a W. Nova has way too many weapons and MU still hasn't shown that it can be dialed in for 40 minutes. Yes, we beat CU on the road, but not having Watson was huge, despite how well the back-up played. The lapses in the second half were pretty glaring. Its unrealistic to think MU can shoot that well two games in a row.

We've shot well for approximately 19 straight games.

Bucket list stuff.   Everybody should have "storm the court or some equally juvenile act when one has reached middle age just to say 'up yours' to the velcroed New Balance wearing sweater vested no fun-niks".     Remind oneself about the sheer joy of life.

Listen... as a fan of Barry Sanders, I generally dislike court-storming.  However, I also dislike MU being embarrassed on TV.

In this case, the lesser of two evils is to allow non-students to storm the court.  Otherwise, even if every student at the game stormed, a 23-person court storm is just going to look bad.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I really look forward to a day when teams storm the court because they beat us, rather than us talking about storming when we beat someone else.

Or God forbid you storm the court wearing a Wade jersey.

I'd prefer they only talk about doing it vs us, never end up able to.

If we're good enough to get stormed against, I'm okay with losing a couple here or there. No one goes 40-0 every year (or any, to date...)

I totally understand his point, beating the #1 team in the country is the perfect time for a court storming, buuuut it ain't gonna happen.

If I recall correctly, the BC staff bring out a fence at the under 4 timeout and puts it in front of the student section to negate any court stormings so the students may meet some resistance if they do try...

I hope Tuesday night goes in a way that means we get to see what happens! (Spoiler: Even with a Marquette win, the court will not be stormed)

As usual, I think many are projecting their unrealistic desires onto the current student section.

Well there were fences at Reed Arena but that was going to stop us if TAMU had held on against #1 Kentucky a few years ago. I could be wrong but I think it would happen if there is a victory. Of course we've got to get the victory first.
