Game Crean-ing out of control for IU early.  Plenty of time for the game to change.

Does any coach have more momentum than Crean when going to shake the opposing coach's  hands? Holy cripes.

There is going to be an arm injury at some point.

I thought they were a top 5 team to start the season and haven't seen anything to change my mind.

But the wrong matchup could get them dumped the 1st weekend of the tournament. A lack of quickness could be their Achilles heel.

Top 5 Big Ten (14)? Yeah, probably.

Their issue is ours - defense (well, and they may have a coaching issue too, heyna?)

I was shocked towards the end of the game at how passive IU was in their offense.  You're down multiple possessions to a team who is known for bleeding the shot clock efficiently, and you're walking up the ball with 3 min left and taking 10-15 seconds to get into your offense?  It was unreal.  And it seemed like a lot of classic, Crean stand around and watch offense at times as well too.

It is less standing around than one player being out of position on Crean's set plays so the play cannot start. Used to drive me nuts.

Not a fan of so many set plays. Crean loves them.

If that's what your numbers tell 'ya, I guess it hasta be. Or you might wanna try watching. It'll tell you more than numbers which basically are just a metric to prove what we can already see.

I know, for Fantasy baseball, I will have to check out the "numbers" on that Kershaw guy to see if he really is as good as I think he is by watching him pitch. (Seriously, I do use the numbers when I do fantasy projections. But they are not the end-all and be-all.)

I hate to be put in the position of defending them, but a lot of schools would grab Gard in a millisecond if they had a chance even with the small samle size.

Defense? I'll take theirs over ours anytime. They are hurting against quick back courts (and 3s) like Creighton or NC, but who isn't?
