This is what Buzz did at and for Virginia Tech.  A top-25 team and sold out crowds at a school that had zero history or prestige of a basketball program.  Hate him all you want, but the dude can coach and does wonders for school basketball programs.

An interesting comparison. K.O./Greenberg resurrected a dying program. Deane/Johnson started to undo the progress that their predecessors made. Crean/Buzz took/looks like they will take their programs to new levels.

This is spot on. More buzz in Blacksburg over the bowl win than the basketball team. Buzz can get there but the tampering gets harder to be successful the more people are aware you're doing it.

I don't know if you watched the broadcast but they stated VT had 2 sellouts this season, Duke and VA, otherwise they are not getting crowds like that. If we hosted both Duke and WI I'd bet those 2 would also be sellouts.
