With the buses running from the Fox Valley and Woodfield Malls, a decent amount of students will make the trip that would normally not make the drive.  With the shuttles running from the Fox Valley and Chicago areas, there will be a decent turnout, even though we are still on break.  Last year the lower bowl was completely filled around 45 minutes before the tip and I would expect a similar scenario this year.  There are a lot of kids that I'm sure are very excited for some real competition to enter the BC! Let's go Warriors!!

I was really hoping to show up right before tip. Damn.

I hope you are right.  I'm sick of the pityful student section, although it's nice getting the the game 5 minutes late and walking down to 106.

Although, it is kind of funny when they introduce the student section as the "best student section in the nation" before each game...and then they show the 8 students in the student section on the jumbotron.

I can't back this up with stats or anything but the student section for the OOC break games this year has been a lot better than years past.

I remember two years ago for the San Francisco game section 106 barely being full and that was it.  I'm not saying the student crowds this year have been massive but a great improvement over the last few years.

the lower bowl sections have been pretty well filled up for most of the games.  A lot of the time it's with parents and siblings of students, but a body is a body.

I'm glad that students and parents are filling up the student section, but that doesn't make it less LAME.  A body is a body, but I like student bodies better :)

We could have a sold out Bradley Center, but if everyone just sat in their seats and didn't cheer or shout, it would still be LAME.
