The incredibly poor defense that Wojo puts out there might have made a bit of a difference.

Vastly different team today than at MSG. MU would have beaten them easily today. CBB is a funny game.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Maybe it was a different game because South Carolina actually played defense?

I love how the thought police always want to move something to the Superbar when it infringes on their one dimensional view of things.

Or when it has nothing to do with Marquette basketball. But once again, who's counting?

It's checking in on an opponent we played. It affects our rpi. It's part of Marquette basketball.

However, we have a thread about how are non cons are doing already. Probably would be better to just post there.

The post was, "Michigan look good tonight?" That has absolutely nothing to do with Marquette basketball. If we're going to create a game day thread to discuss how every team we play against looks every game they play this will be a very crowded board.

Opponent results matter for our RPI. There's a thread for that. How an opponent looks in a game against South Carolina had nothing to do with Marquette basketball.

And it was done when the poster already knew how Michigan played.......he was just trolling.....

If Michigan would have won he wouldn't have started the thread.

Phew!  Good answer.  I think that should keep you out of Guantánamo Bay.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

It's so hard to read this board sometimes.  It's early in the season.  All teams are working on developing a system and plan for success.  Sometimes things will go unexpectedly poorly; they adapt, they hopefully grow and the team at then end of year hopefully resembles them at their best.

Look at Michigan St., this year and really almost every year.  They often have poor starts, but are always in the running in March.

Patience, respect the process.  Then spend all offseason critiquing about how if Wojo has played your guy or did your plan we would have won the NCAA championship.

I agree with this, and given college teams are relying on the 3 more and more, we'll see an increase in this kind of game to game variability.
