Every year, I run this poll after the close of the OOC season .. to see how expectations have changed when predictions were mostly made based on how the team looked on paper, plus a scrimmage or two.

I'll give up my answer.  I was somewhat pessimistic in November (if you can call 11 BE wins pessimistic).  I'd seen every public scrimmage, Madness, Haunted Hoops, exhibition game.  Without Trevor it looked like the same team, very tough, but with the same issues.  Struggling with outside shots, struggling inside.

Now, things are different.  DJ makes way fewer mistakes, and is just solid.  His FG% is up, and he's making good decisions.  Lazar has really bloomed.  Burke/Oooze/Trend are platooning pretty well, better than expected.  Coobie has found how to slash to the basket and actually convert.  Acker is a huge addition, defensive pest who can dish and shoot and drive.

In short, I recognize they've made great strides.  And .. the BE doesn't look as formidable as it did two months ago.   I'll change my answer from 11-7 to 14-4.
